About this map
Site locations are displayed as Eastings and Northings in metres, with the coordinate system labelled. British and Irish Grid coordinates are decoded directly from the published grid reference at its original resolution. Channel Islands coordinates use WGS 84 / UTM zone 30N, derived from the published map position and rounded to 10 m. Published precision does not imply a surveyed mast position.
This is a transmitter location directory. A nearby transmitter may not provide reception at your address: terrain, buildings, aerials and the wider transmitter network affect the signal you receive.
Several FM stations can broadcast from the same site on different frequencies. Sites sharing the same published grid reference are grouped into one marker; each station’s frequency and technical parameters remain separate. Published site names are retained in the details.
Source: Ofcom technical parameters for broadcast radio transmitters. Source page updated 5 August 2026; dataset retrieved 17 October 2026. This snapshot includes 916 mapped locations and 2,077 transmission records. Stations and RDS labels are shown exactly as listed by Ofcom, including abbreviations. This page covers 88–108 MHz inclusive. Eleven source records at 87.7–87.8 MHz and seven Gibraltar records are excluded from this UK map. Blank fields are shown as “Not supplied”; this is not a live station-status feed and recently changed sites or services may not yet appear. Contains Ofcom information licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0.
The map uses OpenStreetMap tiles and postcode lookup from Postcodes.io. Your entered postcode is sent to that lookup service when you search.
